As you can see this movie isn't really liked by the Critics, and even less by Users, at the Yahoo site. Not surprising. This story has so much potential but doesn't deliver. The critics probably felt the acting was solid acting by the main part of the cast and gave some merit for that. So do I. I also thought the movie had merit on it's suspense, but after that it was disappointing. I left the movie wondering what sort of journey we had been on and what did the story accomplish. Other than make us aware of another WW2 atrocity against the Jews, not much. We give it a begrudging happy face.

Storyline From Yahoo: This is the story of an elderly French man, Pierre Brossard (Caine), who as a Nazi sympathizer during World War II was responsible for the deaths of seven Jews, and is now living a quiet, anonymous life in the south of France. Pierre's peace and tranquility are rocked, however, when new blood in the French government launches a new investigation (after members of the "old guard" in both the government and the Catholic Church helped hide him for over 50 years), and he becomes the target of police, assassins and a famous Nazi hunter (Swinton).
