I won't spend much time on this movie. It was good entertainment and beyond that it wasn't much. As Roger Ebert so aptly put it: "I felt too much of the movie consisted of groups of characters I didn't care about, running down passageways and fighting off enemies and trying to get back to the present before the window of time slams shut." And that pretty well sums it up. We needed to know the people better, what they stood for, why are they going back in time. Unfortunately we didn't get that. So it's just lots of action, but at least we came up smiling.
