This is a movie that will likely not appeal to the younger set. It is about middle age crisis and what teenager will know, understand, or care what that is all about. But we really enjoyed this movie. It made us laugh and cry and it was real enough to identify. Roger Ebert says it this way: "Conventional as it may be, Shall We Dance? offers genuine delights." With a strong cast, it is well acted and if you happen to enjoy dance, well that's a bonus. Even though it may not interest the whole family, they can watch and enjoy this movie.
