I didn't want to rent this movie. Thought I would hate it as just another teen idol flick. But that's the beauty of having your grandchildren come by. They wanted to watch it so I watched it with them. And to my surprise, I enjoyed it. Lindsay Lohan was good in her role and the movie is full of life lessons. We even discussed how the stereo types displayed in high school, carry forward to the corporate world. Man talk about deep. Even the ending of this movie wasn't typical Hollywood "teen makes good on life". It's a little advanced for smaller children, but if you have a younger teen [or almost] this would be a good movie to watch with them and discuss after.

Storyline From Yahoo: Raised in the African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) thinks she knows about "survival of the fittest." But the law of the jungle takes on a whole new meaning when the home-schooled 15-year-old enters public high school for the first time and falls prey to the psychological warfare and unwritten social rules that teenage girls face today.
