Eagle Eye (2008) On DVD  Action packed movie that keeps you going.
Eagle, The  [2011]  Was OK, but just OK.  As Mike would say leave this one until nothing else is available.
Eat, Pray, Love [2010]   - Was good but not great. Some premises we do not agree with.
Edge of Darkness (2010)  Good action movie, but not great.
Edges Of the Lord    Very hard war related movie
8 Below (2006)   Just grips you & carries you through with laughing and tears, and reassures us that we still love a great ending.
88 Minutes (2008)  A very good suspense thriller, especially if you're a Al Pacino fan.
Elektra [2005]   A fun film.  Wouldn't say it should be a top pick, but we've seen worse - far worse kung fu junk than this.
Elizabeth (1998)  a solid story of her rise to the Monarchy.  Not completely historically accurate but close.
Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007)    This is not really a sequel, but tries to look at more of her life.
Elizabethtown [Judy ] Very slow but some good lessons for life when you are down and out.
Emperor's Club, The  (2002) Warrants consideration for viewing on it's ethical and character issues.
Enigma (2002)    Will rub most people as being terribly slow and tedious.  But to it's credit its story is quite intriguing.
Enough (2002)  So where the story has great potential, a endless series of unbelievable events just make you tired watching.
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)  I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.
Evelyn (2002)    If it wasn't for the story this movie wouldn't be worth watching, but for that alone it is.
Evening [2007]  The story basically is about remembering back and regretting things you did or did not do.
Eye of the Dolphin (2006)    Won the Best Child Actor and Drama at the International Family Film Festival.
Expendables  [2010] If you take a lineup of  mostly 'B' actors, it's not likely you'll wind up with an 'A' movie.
Family Stone [2005]   Predictable, and shallow, but mostly fun to watch so we can recommend it for a winter rental.
Fantastic 4 [2005]   This is strictly comic book stuff, but it's good comic book stuff.
Fast Five [2011]  Comic book action movie with more testosterone than a WWF tournament. but a fun watch.
Fast Runner, The    Give it a whirl if you want something a little, make that quite a bit, different.
Feast of Love (2007)      A bit weird but some interesting relationships.
Fever Pitch   Not exactly a family movie but entertaining. Rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, and some sensuality.
Firewall [2006]    This is a suspense thriller with more twists and turns than the Highway to the Sun in Glacier National Park.
50 First Dates
Fighting Temptations, The
Fighter, The  (2010) Based on a true story of an aging boxer trying for a championship fight. Worth seeing
Finding Home [2005]
Finding Neverland
Finding Rin Tin Tin (2007) Made for children but works for dog lovers and Rin Tin Tin fans.
Five People You Meet In Heaven [2004]  Although the theology may not be exact, it brings home a very important message.
Flawless (2008)  Demi Moore is trying to see if she can act older parts.  She can and does.  Pretty good movie.  Ending is hokey.
Flags Of Our Fathers   Worth seeing to remind us of the price some paid to sustain our freedoms.  Rated R.
Flicka [2006]   It's nice to see that we don't need blood, guts, and violence to make a good nights entertainment.
Flight of the Phoenix This is good fiction, but it's not necessarily believable fiction.  On the other hand it was fun to watch.
Flightplan   This was a good thriller.   All in all good entertainment.  We enjoyed it, and that's all I'll say.
Flyboys (2006)    Critics didn't seem to like this movie but for us it was good entertainment.
Fool's Gold (2008)    You know where we start and end.  It's just how the road goes.  Good entertainment.
Four Feathers    The story has enough huge gaps in 'how did that happen' to drive a semi truck through.
Forgotten, The    It had good potential and Julianne Moore is a very credible actress.
40 Days 40 Nights   There's some nudity, plenty of sexuality, and liberal use of the F word in this movie. Leave it.
Fracture (2007)   It was good entertainment.  Has an MPAA Rating of R for language and some violent content.
Freaky Friday
Freedomland    Despite some good performances, this movie just doesn't go anywhere.
Freedom Writers [2007]
Friday Night Lights This is a tough movie, but it has great lessons in it and would be a movie for all but small children.
From Paris With Love (2010)   A 'B' action movie with a few 'A' rated actors.
Game Plan  [2007]      If you are looking for a feel good movie, this is it.
Gangs of New York This movie left us wondering exactly what the story was to convey, or what the story accomplished at all.
Garden State    Not our kind of movie
Georgia Rule (2007)  DVD   Has some good themes but isn't without its weak moments.  Jane Fonda is very good.
Get Smart   [2008] Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway, and Dwayne Johnson, all do a credible job in their roles.
Girl Next Door  Definitely Not Recommended
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo [2011] This is a good movie.  A rather dark drama.  Rating is 18A, so not suitable for children.
Gone Baby Gone (2007)     Ben Affleck directed this and starred his brother Casey.  Bad choice.
Good Year, A  (2006)
Glory Road [2006]
Gospel Of John, The   Reviewed but not Rated
Grace is Gone  [2007]   Better have your Kleenex box handy.    Worth a see.
Gran Torino (2008)  This is just a great movie and I recommend it for every one.   What else is there to say?
Green Dragon
Green Zone (2010)    Lots of action, but the story lacks substance.  Matt Damon stars.
Griffin and Phoenix (2006)    A good movie.  Pure Chick flick.
Guardian, The
Guess Who
Gunless [2010] Just a good old western with some humour added.
Hairspray (2007)    This was by all accounts a good movie.  It had a great story, great acting, music, and a good message.
Half Past Dead    It's not only unbelievable, it's mostly unbearable.
Hall Pass [2011]   The story has merit, but it's portrayal in the movie just do it justice.
Hancock (2008)   Didn't really like this movie but it has it's moments.  Lot's of hype about it, but doesn't deliver
Hanna  [2011] In short, a male Jason Bourne.  Kate Blanchett is just OK in her role as the villian.
Happy Feet (2006)     Judy
Harry Brown [2010] Your basic vigilante movie.
Harry Potter [both]
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Heaven's Fall (2006)  A pretty good movie about racial issues, and the defense of blacks by a white lawyer.
Hell To Pay [2005]
Hidalgo
High Crimes
High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008)    Can't criticize a musical.  Just fun and good music too.
Hitch
Holiday, The (2006)
Hollywood Homicide
Hollywoodland (2006)    A good theme if you can learn something from it.
Home of the Brave    Everyone can gain some insight about the affect the wars in the middle east have on soldiers.
Honey  If you're going to watch this movie, you better like hip-hop dancing, and you should  put your mind in fairy tale mode.
Hostage   Nothing real deep, but good enough for a fun night at the movies.
Hot Fuzz  (2007)  DVD    We didn't really connect with this movie.  It had it's funny moments.
Hotel Rwanda
House Of Fog And Sand  ...the story was so depressing, we just couldn't find the merit in this movie.
Hunted, The
