War is a horrible thing, whether one believes there are just wars, or not. This is no easy movie to watch, but it does give a good look at what some POW's went through during WW2, and how their lives were changed. When I was a child most war movies were about John Wayne and the like, kicking the crap out of everyone. Today's war movies are showing us the other side of war, the pain and suffering, and something we often forget about in war, tremendous sacrifice. This is not a movie you want to take out unless you want a more serious story. But it is worth a look.
