I understand this is a takeoff of the 1967 movie Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, except in that movie the guy was black, and the girl and parents were white. There is noting spectacular about this movie, but it is funny and enjoyable. Roger Ebert said "...if the movie had spent more time walking that tightrope between the acceptable and the offensive, between what we have in common and what divides us, it would have been more daring." If there was one thing I didn't like it was the amount of sex-related humor for which the move got a PG-13 rating. I guess good old wholesome humour just doesn't sell anymore. Aside from that it's a good movie. It will play as a good DVD rental when it comes out.

Storyline From Yahoo: Percy Jones (Bernie Mac) is taking no chances with his daughter Theresa's (Zoe Saldana) future. Even before he meets Simon Green, her latest boyfriend, Percy has him checked out. On paper, he passes with flying colors -- great job, good investments and a promising future. But there's one thing the credit report didn't tell him: Simon Green (Ashton Kutcher) is white. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Unless, of course, Simon wants to marry his daughter. Which he does.
