Judy and I really liked this movie. The critics really did not. Roger Ebert says "The Perfect Man takes its idiotic plot and uses it as the excuse for scenes of awesome stupidity." Rotten Tomatoes site only gave it 6% favorable reviews. Well hooey on the critics. This movie may have not had a great plot, nor was it deep or intellectual. It was a happy story with a good ending, no bad or suggestive language, no nudity, and so of course the critics didn't like it. It's a story the whole family can see and enjoy. And that's why we go to movies, to enjoy it and be entertained, regardless of what the critics think.
