Roger Ebert says "March of the Penguins" is simply, and astonishingly, the story of this annual cycle." The cycle he is referring to is the mating and reproduction of the Emperor penguins. It isn't often that a documentary catches the approval of so many movie critics. Rotten Tomatoes site shows a whopping 94% approval rating. And it is a very good movie. You just get caught up in this amazing story, narrated by Morgan Freeman, about how these animals survive and breed in the most hostile environment on this earth. While you can't tell exactly how they communicate, you can certainly sense the feelings and emotions of mating and birthing cycle. If science was taught this way in school, most kids would know a lot more. Not really suitable for really small children as they just will get tired, because they will not feel things older kids and adults will feel. But it is worth the see, and I suggest on the big screen.
