The critics are not fond of this flick, but viewers are more impressed.  The movie is nothing special but it's good entertainment.   and Roger Ebert who rated it better than most critics says  "...a lean and effective action romance."   And that's exactly what it is.   At a time when movies like "Hostel" are out, this is much better.
