If you're going to this one, forget any subliminal messages and just enjoy the fun. 
It has some very humorous moments and that may be it's greatest merit. Good entertainment.
Jim Carey is probably better at roles with humour, but he did a credible job in this one.
This is just a very good and I recommend it for every one. We just plain enjoyed this movie. It's pure fun and suitable for all audiences. See it on the big screen. 
On DVD Predictable romance. Supposed to be funny but laughs were few and far between.
Worth a look considering all the other trash that seems to be out there. Good movie.
The movie is about life on a British war ship. Definitely worth a look. A half decent ending saved this movie from 2 unhappy faces Good acting, but the story sucks. Just didn't quite have enough story to make a good movie. Decent Action Movie.
So while adults will no doubt find it amusing and entertaining, all in all, this was an just OK movie. Takes a while to sort things out, but once you do, it's a good movie. Not great but has a good message in it and is decently entertaining.
It's full of action and....action. But Judy and I found that's about all it was full of. Tom Cruise in his element. Just a little over the top, but worth seeing if you like action.
To fully appreciate this movie it's best if you experienced the reality of women's status in the 50's. Good movie if you are a fan of major league baseball. Based on a true story.
Too unreal, and not enough depth or humour to be considered good
Mr. Deeds is a shallow movie and totally predictable. Good clean fun with a bit of retro. We suspect the adults liked it as much, or more than the kids. Drew Barrymore has a certain charm and Hugh Grant a certain whit that together it's all right. 
Not your mainstream movie. Those who watch this mostly subtitled movie, should not be disappointed. A movie about culture clash for one family. A little slow but has some good messages in it. Nothing overly sophisticated, but good entertainment and fun. Good documentary about the music industry. More about marketing than music. It was just too disjointed to believe. This is a ferry tale - maybe. It's funny, heart warming, and worth a see. Family. Miss this one - period.
Just too weird for words
We did not like this movie, in spite of Judi Dench's and Cate Blanchett's Oscar nominations. Stars Matt Dillon and Kate Beckinsale. Good movie but won't leave you feeling warm and fuzzy. Slow, boring, and we did not like it, but it is liked by both critics and viewers.
There isn't much new or original in this movie - it's simply fun to watch. This is not the Tom Cruise version but the lead character, Claus von Stauffenberg, is much better cast. For some reason this movie did not touch me and I wondered about its accuracy. Mike says the movie had its funny moments, lots of potential, but not much else. 
There are enough twists in the plot to require a road map. This was a good movie.
If you want something a little off the mainstream, rent this one. But don't be tired, it moves slowly.
It's a feel good movie and even if it wasn't great it was funny and enjoyable. A very moving movie about love and sacrifice.
[2002] The movie is well acted and should be seen by all Canadians, just for the history. But it's a love story. 
Long, tedious, weak plot and I am tired of Captain Jack Sparrow A decent action movie.
A movie with potential but never achieves it. Totally predictable, totally entertaining.
The critics like it, but we say leave it on the shelf.
This was Blockbuster's "Hidden Treasure" and it should mostly stay hidden as it's not much of a treasure. A very good movie that's pretty much right for everyone except those under 3. A typical Bond movie, high action. Worth a see on the big screen.
