One Night With The King [2006]
Orlando Sentinel's, Roger Moore says  "Esther's triumph isn't because of divine intervention. It's her humanity and bravery that make her a legend, and make that One Night worth remembering, 2,500 years later."  The storyline from Yahoo gives an overview of the movie at best, but stays away from mentioning this is the story of the biblical Esther.  It would appear that Hollywood has taken lots of artistic liberty, but the main story is interwoven into this movie.  And no doubt some people will think too much liberty was taken, but in my humble opinion if churches would teach their stories like this, more people would remember what the biblical stories were about.  It's not greatly acted but it's a great story with historical fact at its basis.  We think it's worth seeing.  The movie has an MPAA rating of PG for violence, some sensuality, and thematic elements, but I wouldn't worry about that.  This movie is for everyone.
