Chicago Sun-Times, Richard Roeper says: " ...Smith serves notice he is not only a genuine movie star, he's a four-star actor..." It was by all accounts a stellar performance not only by Smith, but his son as well. But it was not entertaining in my view. It was however an excellent insight to what some people must go through when things are just not going well, and the result is a very good movie. You get caught up in this man's dilemma and journey, but you never feel good, just a sense of despair and frustration. Still we would recommend seeing this movie. It has heart and gives a sense of how people need to stay positive under dire circumstances. You won't feel entertained, but you should feel glad you watched it.
